HOW
IT WORKS
The
unit employs a two step process to ensure safe juice:

The
squeezing unit is automatically rinsed at regular intervals, utilizing strong pressure water jets to eliminate
residual pulp.
-
Second,
the machine is programmed to perform two 15-minute washing cycles, more extended and accurate, at time determined by the operator. These processes
reduce the number of recommended hand cleanings.
When
the orange is automatically fed into the squeezing unit it is first cut in half. Each
half travels down a specially shaped slide and passes between two rotating
cylinders. The peel of the orange is pressed
against the outer s/s squeezing cylinder wall while the juice of the fruit
is filtered through the perforated wall of the inner s/s squeezing
cylinder. The essence of the orange passes as Oranfresh® orange juice into
the cup. The peel with its bitter oil passes by a separate internal route
into the waste receptacle.
